Website Design Policies.

Website Design Policy.
When you hire us to design your website (hereafter referred to as a 'site'), we will initially meet or chat with you to discuss your design and technical requirements, in depth. We will then design three different concepts for you to choose from. Should you feel that these don’t cover your needs then a cost of one days work is incurred and we will continue to design (as per your brief) to your exact specifications, (with three design concepts incurring a further days cost) until you are satisfied with the design we produce. All costs are at our site design rate (see pricings page for more information). Whilst at design brief meetings we will be taking notes, we may also digitally record the meeting in order that we may meet your design brief more efficiently. ( top of page)

Free Design Consultation Policy
We offer a free design consultation service which allows clients a maximum of five hours of our time, for free, to discuss design &/or technical site requirements. This is a one time offer, per client. You are under no obligation to engage our services at this time. Should you agree to engage us, we will mutually agree a verbal contract & commence work as soon as we possibly can. Should your location be outside of a ten mile radius of Reading Town Centre (UK) you will be liable for our travel costs to and from the meeting, tickets will be kept for your records and an invoice issued. We will ensure that the cheapest possible method of transportation will be used, in order to reduce client costs. ( top of page)

Your Details.
The only information of yours that we share with anyone is your site address and possibly your email address, for our reference purposes only. This will only be done from this site and we won't sell your details to a mailing list, under any circumstances. All information such as usernames and passwords used to access web servers is regarded as strictly confidential and will never be divulged to any third parties, or misused, under any circumstances. You have the right under the Data Protection Act to see all information we have electronically stored regarding you, please contact us for more information. ( top of page)

Returns / Refund Policy.
We do not offer a returns or refund policy under any circumstances. ( top of page)

Pricing Policy.
We strive to keep costs down for our clientele but reserve the right to change our prices at short notice. When prices change mid contract the client will be invoiced at the original rate not the new one. All prices agreed at the start of any contract will be honoured throughout the life of that contract.

Postal Correspondence Policy.
We cannot be held responsible for the loss of data resulting in the use of Postal services and advise that any confidential information be sent via recorded delivery. We also reserve the right to charge the client for postage and packaging of our work. (ie: hard copies of photographs or cd based copies of sites) ( top of page)

When we will contact you.
We may contact you periodically regarding your site and any possible work you may feel is necessary. These are support calls only however if you don’t wish to be contacted please contact us to arrange this. ( top of page)

Additional Costs.
We make every effort to keep our clients costs down and we will always inform you well in advance if there are any extra purchases you need to make for us to complete our contract with you. Our fee for site design / development is a one-off fee but other costs such as Hosting or Domain name registration are annual. ( top of page)

Deadlines Policy.
We will only undertake a deadline driven contract subject to a meeting with the client. This is to ensure that we have the time & resources to complete the contract under deadline. If an imminent deadline is going to be breached, we will inform you two days beforehand and reduce the costs accordingly, subject to meeting with the client to discuss this. ( top of page)

Satisfaction Policy.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us and we’ll make every effort to remedy the situation as quickly as possible, at our own expense. You must state clearly the reasons for your dissatisfaction, in writing to be mailed to our office and we will aim to resolve any conflicts within two days. ( top of page)

Moral Policy.
Please don’t ask us to work on pornography sites or any sites that include indecent images or textual content regarding children. We also refuse to work on sites that spread fear or hate directed at any and all minority populations, or political parties, anywhere. We refuse to work on sites with any illegal, immoral or dubious content. ( top of page)

Ethical Policy.
We aim to provide an honest and transparent service. We liaise with the client at all times regarding costs and strive to deliver our service as quickly as we can, without compromising quality. ( top of page)

Intellectual Property Policy.
We retain Copyright © on all of our work in the form of a subtle link at the bottom of your site pages. For a one off cost of £3,500 this can be removed should this prove necessary. Any software bought from our company website is guaranteed virus free and the work of Bryan Statham exclusively. No responsibilty can be accepted for any loss of data incurred by using said software. Invoicing & Payments Policy.
We will invoice you upon completion of any works undertaken. Where jobs will take longer than a week we will invoice weekly. We can currently only accept UK company cheques, UK Postal Orders or cash as payment for our services. Software can be purchased using the Paypal™ system via this site, this requires a credit card and a Paypal™ account. All of our subcontractors operate using their own policies and will invoice you directly. In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to ask for a non-refundable deposit in advance should this prove necessary. All payments in advance will be deducted from our final invoice. Payments must be recieved within 30 days of recieving our invoice. ( top of page)

Emergency Callout Policy
We reserve the right to charge a call out fee of £30 to cover clients emergency situations and thus we will attend your offices or place of business as soon as we possibly can to resolve the emergency. Normally this means same day service but we can't guarantee this. ( top of page)

Happy Client Policy
We feel that our industry already has a bad enough reputation for being mercilessly money grabbing and we aim to reduce this. We make every effort to please as we believe that a happy client will refer us on to other potential jobs. We talk to all our clients in a clear, courteous manner and with the minimum amount of terminology. We are also happy to translate into English the terminology used by other companies in our industry. ( top of page)

Search Engine Management Policy
While we aim to bring your site up in search engines results, there are no guarantees that this will happen and the client has this work undertaken at their own risk. We are happy to divulge the details of the work we've done in this area pending a non-disclosure agreement to be signed by the client, to cover our industrial secrets. It must also be noted that this work ought to be done periodically. ( top of page)
